Dog (and Cat) friendly hotels in Ocean City
The following hotels are welcoming to all your furry friends! And we’ve even stayed in some of them… Below you will find every pet-friendly hotel we know of in Ocean City, their phone numbers, address, and pet-fee. Let us know if we’ve missed your favorite and we’ll add them to our list!
Residence Inn by Marriott
If you are looking to stay in luxury with your furry friend then the Residence Inn will provide just that. Normally this branch of the Marriott Group focuses on long-term stays, and while this location does do that, it also competes with all the normal hotels in town as well. This means its the only Residence Inn that has an on-site restaurant.
The pool and fitness center are located on the 8th floor, offering views of the bayside of Ocean City; as well as, the incoming views of all that traffic on Route 90, as you relax or work-out, while the rooms have both bay front views and more modest views of side street canals.
We were most impressed by the full kitchen our room offered, the walk-in shower, the balcony views. But above all else, it was awesome to see a local hotel’s business center also included an iMac computer! We were able to interact with all of our Facebook followers with ease.
Pet Fee: $75 (off-season), $150 (in-season) for entire stay- regardless of number of nights.

The Fenwick Inn
Newly renovated, this hotel has been a landmark in Ocean City for over 40 years. Located on the North end of town, the Fenwick Inn is walking distance from the beach (just a block away!), and is close to both Ocean City and Fenwick, meaning you can enjoy both towns easily- but even head on up to the northern beaches of Delaware for a day in Bethany, Dewey or Rehoboth. It’s got free parking, free wi-fi, accepts pets, and has an indoor pool with a HOT TUB!!!!! While I didn’t get to enjoy the pool, my humans did, and it was perfect. The hot tub was located above the regular pool so you could keep an eye out on what was happening down there, but still be in your own adult-only area.
The business center had plenty of room for playing board games, and since it was winter, they even had hot chocolate for us! The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Every year the hotel even organizes a fundraiser for the local animal shelters, by waiving any guests’ pet fee for that week if they bring something to donate.
