Story Time with Pip at the Ocean City Library
Every Wednesday at 10:30am the Ocean City Branch of the Worcester County Library holds its weekly story time. Pip was invited to come and share his story with the little youngsters, and we were able to give them a sneak peek at his new book!
The very nice librarian led the children in the hello song, and read them one of Pete the Cat’s Books! Then it was Pip’s time to shine! We sat down on the floor with everyone and showed them a short video of some of the crazy things Pip does. Then we were able to show them Pip’s new book and actually read it together! We talked all about the fun stuff we have to do in Ocean City and talked ALOT about everyone’s favorite boardwalk food.
Then it was time for Pip to come out of his bubble and do his tricks. He even got to do a couple with some of the other kids! Then he went back in his spaceship, so that everyone could take a picture with him. We had never done a meet and greet with such small children, and we didn’t realize how heavy Pip had gotten, so we had to help them all hold him up, which made for some very funny pictures, and lots of laughing!
We hope to come to some of the summer story times this year as well!
